FAQ – Holiday Mapping Template [ Note : This is for 4.1 Client]

Holiday Mapping is surely one of the easiest tasks in ZingHR. This process is always in sync with the Leave year. So you can upload the holidays based on the Leave Year defined in system, which can be either the calendar year or any other 12 months mapping!
Please follow the below given steps to do the same in few easy steps:
Step 1:
Go to “Leave Management System” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator. You now get to see this option “Holiday Master”, click on the same.
Fill up the holiday master as mentioned in screen shot by mentioning holiday description and date.
In order to add a holiday in the master, click on the date and enter date and holiday description and click on add. The holiday will be added in the master.
Step 2:
Then request you to click on “Leave Management System” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator. You now get to see this option “Org level wise holiday configuration”, click on the same.
Click on edit
Click the check box at the right against every holiday and click on save.
Your holidays are mapped now.
Once you mapped the holiday in holiday master, follow the below steps:
Step 3:
Then request you to click on “Data Upload Engine--> Download” module option that you see on your screen after you have logged in as an Administrator.
Step 4:
Select the template as “Org level wise holiday configuration” and click on Download.
(Note: Save the template in .xls format)
Step 5:
NOTE: Always remove Column “A” and Row from 2 to 5 as it contains explanatory data/ details.
You need to fill some mandatory details into the Org level wise holiday configuration Template:
1. OrgLevel1 Description (Column “A”): If your OrgLevel 1 is Company, then request you to enter the company’s name.
2. OrgLevel2 Description (Column “B”): If your OrgLevel 2 is Location, then request you to enter location for which you want to provide the holiday list
3. Holiday Description (Column “I”): Put holiday description same as mentioned in the Holiday Master.
Save the template in “.xls” format.
Step 6:
Upload the same file through “Data Upload” Screen:
The Below screen will be visible. Click on Browse and select the file and click on drop down icon and select Template Name as “Org level wise holiday configuration” and click on the Excel Icon to upload.
You will get the pop up of “Org level wise holiday configuration updated successfully”.
Step 7:
Go to Data Upload Engine and click on “Data Submit Upload”.
Select the Template/ Batch and click on “Click Here To Submit Batch”. Same pass by “Data Checker 1” and then “Data Checker 2”.
Your processing will now be accurate and all the update details of an employee will be visible properly into the system.
