Template configuration
- When is template configuration required?
Template configuration is required for following reasons
- Change in logics of any Payheads / changes in Paygroups,
- Creation of New Payheads in the system
- Set of any kind of formula to a Payheads.
- How is template configuration done?
Step1: Go to setup circle
Step2: Payroll & Compliance
Step3: Click on
Step4: Wait until below prompt is received
- What is template configuration required for?
Template configuration is done for applying the changes done in Payheads / Paygroups
- Why is template configuration necessary?
Template configuration is done so that changes made in Payheads / Paygroups reflect correctly and the salaries are processed smoothly
- How to check if newly created Payheads / changes done in Payheads is reflecting correctly?
- If we have done any modification in existing Payhead the same can be checked by downloading Payhead Master.
- If we have created a Variable Payhead we will have to check the same by downloading Variable template and check if the created Payhead is visible in Payheads sheet
- If we have created a Fixed Payhead we will have to check the same by downloading Employee Salary Template and check if the created Payhead column is visible in employee salary sheet.
- How to convert Variable Payhead to Fixed Payhead?
This can be done by uploading through Payhead Master Template present in Other Templates in Payroll cockpit. When the Payhead is converted to Fixed we will have to create the arrear Payhead for the same.
Please note: A Variable Payhead can be converted into Fixed Payhead; However, A Fixed Payhead cannot be converted into Variable Payhead directly if it is already processed, if it is before processing, deactivate the Arrear Payhead and then change the property of Main head and do template configuration
